Helang Books is a Singapore-based independent publisher established in 2010 by author Hidayah Amin. The company focuses on non-fiction works that explore Singapore’s Malay history, culture and social issues. In addition to publishing culturally significant books, Helang Books is committed to inclusivity and accessibility. They produce children's books designed with features such as Braille, dyslexia-friendly fonts and tactile illustrations, making reading more accessible for all.

The name Helang, which means eagle in Malay, reflects the values of wisdom, vision and strength. Through its thoughtful publications, Helang Books aims to preserve heritage while promoting understanding and inclusion within the community.
